Confidential Resources

All Blinn College District employees, resident assistants (RAs), and campus police officers are required to report all Title IX sexual harassment and/or information to Title IX personnel, with the following exception:

Blinn counselors and nurses (or staff) are the only employees not required to notify Title IX personnel of Title IX sexual harassment and/or information unless the complainant chooses the information to be reported.

If Title IX sexual harassment and/or information are/is reported confidentially to a Blinn counselor or nurse (or staff), Blinn is not obligated to investigate, end, prevent, and remedy the issue.

If Title IX sexual harassment and/or information are/is reported to any Blinn employee, resident assistant (RA) or campus police officer, Blinn will respect the privacy of the complainant, persons against whom a report is filed, and witnesses to the greatest extent possible. Limited disclosures may be necessary in order to conduct a thorough investigation and comply with applicable law.
