Fire Science Information Sessions
Prepare for your education in fire science by attending a general information session. Information sessions will cover a variety of topics, including admissions criteria, required tests and immunizations, and participant questions.
The Blinn College District and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) require students to successfully complete an EMT course before attending the recruit academy. Current immunizations, including Hepatitis B, are required upon admission to Blinn’s EMT course. If the EMT course is completed at another training institution then students must show proof of completion with their National Registry card.
All information sessions are held in Room 3543 in Clinical Building I at the Texas A&M Health Science Center located at 8441 Riverside Parkway (State Highway 47) in Bryan.
Please check back later for new information session dates.
Please park in Lot 3 to avoid getting a parking ticket. Prospective and current Blinn students should enter through the rear lobby of the HSC Clinical Building I and take the east elevators to the third floor.
We will email registered students a parking pass, so please provide a valid email address when registering. Students will need to print out the parking pass and bring it with them on the day of their information session. The parking pass must be displayed on the car dashboard to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
