The Blinn College District Board of Trustees maintained tuition and general fee rates for the fall 2025 semester and authorized key facility improvements across multiple campuses during its regular meeting on Tuesday.
Fall 2025 tuition and fee rates will remain unchanged from the current academic year. Tuition was set at $64 per semester credit hour for in-district students from Blinn’s taxing district, which includes only Washington County residents. Out-of-district Texas residents will pay $123 per credit hour, and out-of-state students will pay $279 per credit hour. Additionally, trustees held the general fee steady at $80 per credit hour.
Trustees also approved maintaining the current rates for student housing, food services, and all course, lab, and auxiliary fees.
In facility-related actions, the board authorized the College to negotiate and execute contracts for construction manager at risk services for the first building at the Waller/Harris County Campus and the Brenham Campus Sports Complex. Blinn announced in October that it had purchased 100 acres at 29638 FM 2920 in Waller, which will serve as the College’s sixth campus. The site will become a comprehensive commuter campus offering students a wide range of high-demand degrees.
The Brenham Campus Sports Complex is part of the Districtwide Facilities Master Plan the College established in 2021. Plans for the Sports Complex include a practice football field with artificial turf, competition soccer and softball fields, a putting/chipping green, and a 27,000-square-foot field house containing sports offices, locker rooms, and training facilities.
Additionally, trustees authorized the negotiation and execution of guaranteed maximum price contracts for central plant upgrades on the Brenham Campus and roof replacements at Buildings 5 and 6 of the Blinn College Park Apartments, also located on the Brenham Campus.
The board also approved a contract for general contractor services to perform interior finish upgrades at Buildings F and H on the Bryan Campus.
