Self-Advising Guide

Self-advising is only available to continuing Blinn College students who are college ready in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics based on acceptable college entrance exams.  Please refer to TSI Requirements for more information.

Advising is a process.  This guide is intended to assist you in achieving your goals, but it does not take the place of an academic advisor.  Follow the steps below to self-advise.  If you have any questions or doubts, please visit with an academic advisor on your campus.

Step 1: Choosing a Path and Major
Step 2: Selecting Courses
Step 3: Registering for Courses
Step 4: Checking Your Academic Progress
