  • Number of full-time equivalent employees employed by the agency: 831
  • Methodology for determining the compensation of executive staff employed by the agency: The current methodology was approved by Executive Council and developed by Fox Lawson and Associates to define the salary ranges for the college.  The final hiring salary determination is made based upon internal equity, prior experience, education, unique skills or knowledge, and the living wage calculator.  
  • Executive staff salary supplement eligibility: The College District shall not accept gifts, grants, donations, or other consideration designated for use as salary supplements. See Board Policy DEA (Local). 
  • Market average for compensation of similar executive staff in the private and public sectors: Based on data in the Texas Association of Community Colleges salary survey.
  • Average compensation paid to employees employed by the agency who are not executive staff: $46,429  
  • Percentage increase in compensation of executive staff for each fiscal year of the five preceding fiscal years and the percentage increase in legislative appropriations to the agency each fiscal year of the five preceding fiscal years:
    • 2019-2020: 5%
    • 2018-2019: 3%
    • 2017-2018: 3%
    • 2016-2017: 3.5%
