Message from the Chancellor -- 1-6-2021

Dear Faculty and Staff,

I hope that you each enjoyed a warm and restful holiday season and that you and your families remain in good health.

In October, we announced that Blinn will continue to follow its Back With Blinn procedures, available at, throughout the Spring semester. This includes continued social distancing on campus, daily self-certification, the use of facemasks and advanced cleaning protocols across our campuses, and limited travel. Since the Fall, Blinn has used staggered, alternating schedules to minimize the number of employees on campus while maintaining regular business hours and campus services.

In light of current conditions in our service area and throughout the State of Texas, and out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our campus community, we ask all supervisors to further minimize the personnel on campus through Friday, January 15th.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our students. I recognize how important it is for you to have the latest information regarding the College’s COVID-19 response, and will continue to keep you informed as the Spring semester approaches. If you have any questions, please reach out to your departmental leadership, vice chancellor, or me, and we will be happy to assist.

Mary Hensley, Ed.D.

Chancellor of the Blinn College District
