Leisure learning is for lifelong learners searching for personal enrichment. Choose from classes that are educational, allow you to learn a new skill, brush up on job skills, or try a new hobby. CELA 1010: Digital Photography

Learn the basics of digital photography.

CELP 1000: Intro to Essential Oils

Essential Oils are often used for immune support, relaxation and sleep, stress relief, emotional balance, skin care, respiratory health, green cleaning, and can even relieve muscle tension and pain. This course teaches students about essential oil safety, how essential oils are produced, and common methods of use. You also will discover how to create a more natural, healthy lifestyle with Aromatherapy.

CELA 1011: Golf

Want to enhance your swing, or want to play golf but do not know where to begin?  This class teaches new and novice golfers the techniques needed to enjoy the sport. Individual instruction will provide each player tips and drills to improve their golf swing and make golf fun.

Dates and Times:

  • Mondays 6:00-7:30 p.m. and Thursdays 8:00-10:00 a.m., November 12-22.

CELA 1001: Jewelry Making

Do you have a love for jewelry? Would you like to design jewelry for your family and friends? This beginning jewelry making course provides an introduction to basic jewelry making and design. Students will receive one-on-one instruction regarding techniques and designs for wearable jewelry.

CELG 1000: Woodworking

This class teaches general woodworking techniques using basic tools and materials. Class participants learn to create projects using refurbished wood and learn at their own pace. Each specific project will be selected by the class.

  • Tuesday, December 11, and Thursday, December 13, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

CELM 1000: Yoga

Yoga has many health benefits, including reducing stress, clearing your mind, helping to develop lean muscles, and adding core strength. There are a wide variety of yoga styles that fit just about anyone's preferred type of exercise, from beginners to experts. This class helps students identify the best type of yoga for them and to discover new yoga styles.
