Advanced registration available now
The Blinn College – Schulenburg campus will offer medication aide and electrician mandatory continuing education classes beginning Feb. 21.
The medication aide class will run Feb. 21-June 20, meeting Mondays and Thursdays from 5-9 p.m., and will provide instruction in the preparation and administration of medication. The course is designed for Certified Nurse Aides interested in becoming Certified Medication Aides. Students must be currently-employed CNA’s in good standing and are required to have a high school diploma or GED.
The course textbook, workbook and a state exam fee are all covered in the $740 fee.
The one-day, mandatory continuing education electrician class will be offered from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 or April 5. The class costs $55 and is open to master, journeyman and apprentice electricians.
