Blinn SBDC offers free taxpayer business seminar
State enforcement officer will explain records requirements and taxpayer responsibilities

The Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a free seminar to help business owners unlock the secrets of Texas sales tax.
The two-hour seminar will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at the Brenham Campus Student Center located at 1007 Walter Schwartz Way (map). Michael Stegint, an enforcement officer at the State Comptroller’s Office in Houston, will explain the proper record-keeping and filing requirements for business owners who must collect and file state sales tax. After his presentation, Stegint will answer questions from the audience.
