Free Blinn SBDC seminar to offer tips for identity protection
Lauren Galley, Regional Director for the Better Business Bureau, will offer tips to avoid common scams

The Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a free seminar on Thursday, May 9, that provides tips for protecting personal information and avoiding scams.
Hosted from 10-11:30 a.m. at the SBDC at 108 Blinn Blvd. in Brenham, the seminar will be instructed by Lauren Galley, Regional Director for the Better Business Bureau. Participants will learn to recognize the first signs of identity theft and other scams and how to use the Better Business Bureau’s Scam Tracker to discover the scams that are most prevalent locally.
