Blinn SBDC, U.S. Small Business Administration offer free disaster recovery and preparedness workshop
Two-hour workshop offers tips, tools, and resources to help businesses and communities rebound quickly

The Blinn College District Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are partnering to offer a free disaster recovery and preparedness workshop for small businesses Thursday, May 16, at the Blinn College-Sealy Campus.
For business owners, being prepared for a disaster is the key to recovering quickly. This workshop offers tips, tools, and resources to help businesses and communities rebound quickly and get back to business. The SBA will discuss how to access its Disaster Loan Program and American Red will discuss the Ready Rating Program. Other topics include emergency capital sources, how to secure business technology assets, and local emergency services. Light refreshments will be provided.

In addition to the Blinn SBDC and the SBA, the workshop has been made possible by the Sealy Chamber of Commerce, Sealy Economic Development Corporation, and Lone Star Bank.
