The Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association seeks nominations for its 2019 Hall of Honor class.
The Hall of Honor recognizes the Blinn College District’s most distinguished alumni, local business leaders, and those who have made a significant impact in their communities or professions. Inductees are recognized at a luncheon during Blinn’s homecoming week festivities each year.
To nominate a civic leader with ties to the Blinn College District, please complete the nomination form available at https://www.blinn.edu/alumni/nomination.html by Friday, June 14. Each nomination will remain active for three years.
The Selection Committee will consider the candidates’ affiliation to and influence on Blinn, career and leadership success, and participation in community, state, or national activities. Inductees will be honored at this year’s Hall of Honor luncheon on Friday, Sept. 20.
Last year’s Hall of Honor Class included Brazos County Commissioner and former Blinn College District Trustee Nancy Berry, alumnus and philanthropist M. Scott Gilpin, Blinn Foundation Executive Director Susan Myers, businessman and former Chair of the Blinn College Foundation Board Walt Schoenvogel, and former Blinn College Trustee Dr. Robert A.
