Blinn-Bryan to host National Weather Service FloodAware seminar

Seminar covers flood basics, risks, safety, and available resources

The Blinn College-Bryan Campus will host a free FloodAware seminar conducted by the National Weather Service on Friday, April 12.

The seminar will take place from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in Building D, Room 141 (map), and covers flood basics, risks, safety, and available resources. Emergency managers and other partners will be on hand to discuss their roles and responsibilities during floods.

The event is coordinated by the Blinn College-Bryan Campus Critical Incident Response Team, a group of faculty and staff volunteers trained to assist in mitigation, response, and recovery processes of critical incidents.
