Blinn College District Board of Trustees invites applications for vacant Precinct 4 trustee position

The Blinn College District Board of Trustees invites qualified members of the community to apply for appointment to Blinn’s vacant Precinct 4 trustee position.
The process for appointing the new Precinct 4 trustee was determined by the board during a special meeting held Tuesday evening.
Interested applicants should visit the Blinn-Brenham Campus Administration Building, Room 317, to receive an application packet from Laurie Clark, Special Assistant to the Board of Trustees and Chancellor. Applicant packets should include a résumé and cover letter describing the applicant’s qualities, personal characteristics, skills that would be of value as a Blinn College District trustee, and why they wish to be appointed to the board. Completed applications should be submitted to:

To be qualified, an applicant must be:
- a resident of Washington County Precinct 4 (Washington County Election Map),
- 18 years of age or older,
- a U.S. citizen, not adjudged incompetent nor finally convicted of a felony without a pardon, and
- a registered voter in Washington County, Texas.
Please refer to Election Code Sections 1.020 and 141.001(a) for complete qualification requirements. Applications must be received on or before 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12.
The board will review all applications and select an appointee at an upcoming meeting.
