Blinn-Sealy to host second annual ‘Boots & Blue Jeans for Blinn’ on March 28

Last year’s inaugural event raised $10,000 for campus scholarships, programs

Boots & Blue JeansBlinn College will host an exciting night of food, music and fun while raising money for scholarships and new educational programs on the Sealy campus.

The second annual “Boots & Blue Jeans for Blinn,” will be held from 6-11 p.m. March 28 at the Knights of Columbus Hall (1390 U.S. Highway 90) in Sealy and will include a rib-eye steak dinner, dancing, a raffle and live and silent auctions. The Anthony Moreno Band will perform.

Tickets are $40 and include admission and the meal. Table sponsorships are $400 and include 10 tickets, table signage and prime seating. All proceeds will go toward Blinn – Sealy student scholarships and the development of new educational programs on the campus.

Raffle tickets are $50 apiece and include the chance to win up to $5,000 in VISA gift cards. Only 200 raffle tickets will be sold, all tickets will be drawn and the winner will be determined by lottery. Prizes will be awarded for the first and every 25th ticket drawn.

Last year’s inaugural Boots & Blue Jeans event raised $10,000 for the Sealy campus. Bonnie Meyer of Columbus won a $4,800 gift card from the event’s raffle and donated $1,000 of her winnings to the Sealy campus.
