The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Blinn College will hold an advanced, two-night workshop in the use of QuickBooks accounting software, May 24 and 26.
The hands-on class will meet at 6-9:30 p.m. in the Bullock Building, on the Brenham campus.
The course covers analyzing financial data, setting up inventory, estimating and progress invoicing, payroll and tracking time. Participants for the advanced level should be familiar with QuickBooks and Windows. The instructor is certified QuickBooks instructor Shirley Beum, of Seidel Schroeder & Company.
The cost is $60, and pre-registration is required.
The SBDC at Blinn College is a business consulting and training center that is part of the University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network, which serves 32 counties in Southeast Texas. The center provides free one-on-one consulting and low-cost training seminars. SBDC programs are nondiscriminatory and available to individuals with disabilities.
