Tax Forms Electronic Consent Announcement

Employers are required by the IRS to furnish all employees with a form W‐2 and 1095C each calendar year. We are pleased to announce that Blinn College employees will automatically be consented to receive their W-2 and 1095C electronically through Banner Self-Service, beginning January 2018. Thus, employees will not receive these forms via US Mail.

Employees who prefer to receive their tax forms by mail, will need to log in to Banner Self Service to deselect the option. To do so, logon to the MyBlinn portal and open the Banner Self-Service folder under the Employee tab. Select Tax Forms > Electronic Regulatory Consent. You may unselect the "My Choice" option and submit the form.

If an employee does not consent, a W-2 will be postmarked no later than January 31, 2018 via US Mail to the current address on record. It is the employee's responsibility to maintain a current mailing address on file with the Human Resource office.

2016 tax information will be delivered January 2017 via US Mail and available electronically through the current Employee Online System.
