Step One: Accept the awarded loan by signing and returning a Tentative Financial Award Plan that was issued by the Blinn College Financial Aid Office. Once received and processed (may take several business days) the student can complete steps 2 & 3 listed below.
Step Two: Complete your Master Promissory Note at www.StudentLoans.gov

Step Three: Complete your on-line entrance counseling at www.StudentLoans.gov
You will need to answer 12 out of the 15 questions correctly. If you do not, you will have the option to take the quiz again.
After accepting the loan and returning the award letter to our office the student should monitor the www.StudentLoans.gov website until the loan is accessible. This may take up to several business days.
Your loan process will not be complete and you will not receive any funds (and tuition, fees, etc will not be paid) until the Direct Loans process has been completed online.
