Facilities Maintenance

The Facilities Maintenance program familiarizes students with basic facility maintenance knowledge and building code while providing entry-level carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical skills. The program provides an overview of skilled trades such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, while emphasizing the role of the facilities staff and importance of safe work practices.

The Facilities Maintenance program is an accelerated, competency-based program offered at the RELLIS Campus.


Technical and Community Education Course Schedule

Program Highlights

Students who successfully complete the 200-hour program earn the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification, the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate, and a certificate from the Blinn College District. Scholarships may be available through Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley. To see if you qualify, call 979-595-2800 and schedule an appointment with a Workforce Solutions counselor.
