HOBET (Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test)

HOBET is a computer-based Allied Health applicant test offered at the Bryan and Schulenburg Campuses.

Required for admission into these programs:
Dental Hygiene
EMT – Paramedic Technology
Physical Therapist Assistant
Radiologic Technology
Veterinary Technology

Registration/Payment

Pay a $10 non-refundable/non-transferable Administration fee at Enrollment Services in cash, money order, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover.

On the day you are assigned to a computer to take the HOBET you must pay a $40 fee online using one of the following credit/debit cards: VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover or Cash Card.

Study Guide for the HOBET is available online from the testing company, ATI: www.atialliedhealth.com
Admission Ticket, Photo ID, and payment are required for admission to test.
Enrollment Services is open M-F, 8am-5pm, and on closed Saturdays.
A valid e-mail address is required.
If retesting, you must wait 4 weeks between tests.
IMPORTANT: To facilitate your testing process, go to www.atialliedhealth.com and create a user name and password before your selected test date. Bring your user name and password on test day.

Do NOT Bring: Food or drinks, cell phones, calculators, or any electronic devices (If you bring, they will be taken up), backpacks, large bags or purses.

Bryan Campus

Monday - Friday Testing is held in the Administration Building, room 145, from 8:30 – 12 p.m. Once you select the exam date you want, you will need to go to the office of Enrollment Services and they will direct you to the Testing site. Saturday test-takers only: If you are an out of town test-taker and cannot prepay before the test date, bring a $10 money order with you on test day, and make money order payable to Blinn College.

Saturday Testing is located in the Health Building. Park in the parking lot nearest the Health building. Enter doors nearest the parking 2nd floor. Report time is at 8:00am.
