Public forums in Brenham and Bryan have been scheduled for faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members to meet and hear from the finalists for Blinn College president. The search process, which began in May, led to two finalists who will participate in moderated forums Sept. 6 and Sept. 8.
The public is invited to attend these forums.
The finalists are Harold E. Nolte, Jr., Ed.D., president, Ellis County campuses, Navarro College; and Edward E. “Ted” Raspiller, Ed.D., provost, Blinn’s Brazos County campuses.
The sessions will be similar in structure, with candidates being introduced, answering questions and fielding inquiries through a moderator who will help facilitate the forums. The Brenham forums will be led by Mr. Charles Moser, publisher emeritus, Brenham Banner-Press, while the Bryan forums will be led by Mr. Mike Wright, general manager, KBTX (Bryan). Moser and Wright serve on the 15-member Blinn Presidential Search Advisory Committee.
