Will Blinn have intercollegiate athletics in the Fall?

On Monday, July 13th, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced that upon the recommendation of the NJCAA’s Presidential Advisory Council and Board of Regents, it has voted to postpone Fall semester intercollegiate sports until the Spring semester. The NJCAA’s announcement and updated plan of action for the 2020-21 NJCAA sports seasons are available here.

At Blinn, our top priority remains the health and safety of our employees and students. With this in mind, we fully support the NJCAA’s decision. As we prepare our student-athletes for academic success this Fall semester, we look forward to a great academic year and the opportunity to participate in intercollegiate sports during the Spring semester.
