Students must check in at their assigned time, and can bring just one friend or family member to assist them. Both the student and their friend or family member must undergo screening before moving in. Am I required to wear a face covering while in my on-campus room or apartment?

Face coverings are not required when students are in their personal on-campus residence hall rooms/suites or apartments (including private and suite-style bathrooms). Blinn encourages its campus residents to discuss their expectations regarding face coverings at the start of the semester. If one of you should develop COVID-19 symptoms, face coverings should be worn until a healthcare professional can be consulted.
