Transcript Requests

An official transcript of college credits is a record of a student’s academic record bearing the Blinn College District seal and the signature of the Registrar. Students may order a transcript at any time during a semester and/or request that it be held and then sent out after all current semester grades or degrees are posted.

Note: If you have a hold on your account, your request will not be processed until the hold is cleared.

 

Blinn uses Parchment to process online official transcript requests. You can choose to have your official transcripts mailed, sent overnight, or sent electronically. Picking up your transcripts in person is not an option for online requests. Attachments that must be included with official transcripts can be attached with submitting the online request. Each online transcript requested is $5.00.

The following colleges and universities will automatically receive an electronic transcript request:

There are two options for completing an online request:

As a Student

Students with access to their myBLINN account must submit an online transcript request by:

  1. Log in to myBLINN
  2. Click "Transcript Request"
  3. Click "Order Your Transcript"
  4. Register with Parchment and follow order instructions
  5. Submit

As a Guest

Individuals who do not have access to a myBLINN account must submit an online transcript request by creating a Parchment account:

  1. Visit the Parchment website
  2. Click "Create Account" and follow the directions

Use this option to order and/or pick up your official transcript from Enrollment Services.

Please stop by the Enrollment Services Office on the Brenham, Bryan, Schulenburg, or Sealy campuses during business hours with a valid photo ID and form of payment. Each transcript is $5.00 if sent electronically, or $7.50 if printed.

For transcripts requested online, you will receive a delivery confirmation email from Parchment to the email address listed on the request.

You may check the status and verify that your official transcripts have been sent:

  1. Log in to myBLINN
  2. Click on the "Students" tab
  3. Under "Student Links" in the center of the page, click on '"Self-Service Banner'"
  4. Click "Student," then "Student Records"
  5. Click "View Status of Transcript Requests," and select "Date Ordered"
  6. Click "Submit"

You may request unofficial copies of your Blinn transcript if you have access to your myBLINN account.

  3. Under "Student Links" in the center of the page, click on '"Self-Service Banner'"
  4. Click "Student," then "Student Records"
  5. Click "Academic Transcript," and select "Unofficial Web Transcript"
  6. Click "Submit"
