Criminal Justice

Program Description:  Students completing this degree will be prepared to successfully transfer into a four year college/university and pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. This program introduces students to the methodologies and techniques in the Criminal Justice profession. The profession includes a variety of local, state, and federal careers, including law enforcement, investigation, corrections operation, corrections counseling, a variety of court positions, government administration, probation, and even with private companies.

Transfer Information

This Criminal Justice degree provides a pathway to transfer to a four-year college or university where students can earn a baccalaureate degree. Students are strongly encouraged to select a transfer destination by the time they have completed 30 semester credit hours. Students should consult with their chosen transfer institution regarding recommended courses that will transfer and be applied to their baccalaureate degree program.
