Child Care Worker Certificate Level 1

Program Description: Because an associate degree typically takes two years to complete, this Child Care Worker certificate provides workforce training in child development in a shorter period of time with no general education core courses. The Child Care Worker Certificate allows students to enter the workforce more quickly or enhance job skills for current employment. All courses may be applied towards the Associate of Applied Science in Child Development degree.

Use this Program Map as an advising guide to choose courses with your advisor and track progress toward milestones and completion of degree. This is a recommended sequence of courses. Students have flexibility in the actual scheduling of courses and decisions about number of hours per semester. Not all courses are offered every semester or in all course delivery formats.
