Kelli Shomaker has served as Blinn’s senior vice president for finance and administrative services since 2012, managing the College’s human resources, accounting, purchasing, facilities planning and construction, computing services and food services departments, as well as the College’s business office.
Shomaker’s 30-year career includes 15 years at Texas A&M University, where she last served as associate vice president for operations. Shomaker previously served as Texas A&M’s assistant dean for finance and administration, director of external reporting, director of accounting services for business affairs, director of the Fellows Program and faculty lecturer in the accounting department.
Shomaker has served in leadership roles for Friends of the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra Association, Junior League Board of Bryan-College Station and the American Cancer Society of the Brazos Valley.
Shomaker earned her bachelor of business administration in accounting at the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in 1984 and is a registered CPA in the State of Texas.
