Testing and Assessment Accommodations

TSIA Exam:

Students with documented disabilities have the option of receiving accommodations on testing and assessment (i.e. TSIA) through the Blinn Testing Center. The TSIA is an untimed, computerized exam.

  1. Students must submit appropriate documentation to the Office of Disabilities Services (ODS) for review. The documentation may be emailed or faxed to your respective campus
  2. Complete the online intake form for new students located under the Forms tab of the ODS website.
  3. The ODS will contact the student to discuss the accommodations requested. Check your student Blinn email in the myBLINN portal.
  4. Upon review and approval, the ODS will contact the Blinn Testing Center to confirm the students’ approved accommodations.
  5. It is the responsibility of the student to schedule their exam with the Blinn Testing Center. Contact your respective campus to schedule the exam.

Other Exams:

  1. Students must submit appropriate documentation to the Office of Disabilities Services (ODS) for review. The documentation may be emailed or faxed to your respective campus

  4. Upon review and approval, the ODS will contact the Blinn Testing Center to confirm the students’ approved accommodations.
  5. The Testing Center will contact the organization who hosts the exam to supply the approved accommodations.

NOTE: Contact the Disability Services Office in advance to have accommodations in place prior to testing.
