Letters of Accommodation (LOA) Process

All Letters of Accommodation (LOAs) are sent electronically, as an email, to the students BUC Blinn account. Instructors, you should only accept LOAs provided by the Disability Services (ODS) office.

  • The LOA will list classroom accommodations provided to the student.
  • The LOA will contain the student's name and semester of request.

The LOA is NOT retroactive and only becomes effective once the student and instructor discuss the accommodations.

Review the LOA carefully and contact the Disability Services office should you have any questions about how an accommodation should/may be provided.

Students MUST submit the online letter request form each semester in order to receive letters of accommodations for that semester. undefined
