New Students for Summer and Fall 2013:
International Students: Must attend a mandatory International Student Orientation. Click here for details.
TEAM Students: Please refer to your mailings from Texas A&M University. We have special days set aside for you to come to Blinn and be advised by both an A&M advisor and a Blinn advisor. A Blinn information session will also be part of your visit to TEAM Advising Day. The web site to sign up for TEAM advising was included in the brochure you were sent from A&M.
All other Students: You are highly encouraged to attend one of our SOAR sessions (Student Orientation, Advising and Registration). This is an all-day program offered multiple times. You choose the best day for your schedule. However, the earlier you attend the better in terms of class availability. You must be advising ready to attend. This includes admissions paperwork turned in and test scores on files. Please check your myBlinn account for admission status updates or call 979-209-7200 and press “0” to talk to a Student Information Specialists.

General Information:
As a reminder, all new students have a registration hold pending academic advising.
1. College Ready Students (meet all TSI testing scores) have three options:
a. Attend a SOAR or TEAM Advising Day session and be advised there.
b. Come meet with an advisor on your own. Click here to learn more about meeting with an adviser.
c. Complete an advising waiver form and submit to enrollment services.
2. TSI Liable students must meet with an Academic Adviser (at a SOAR session or on their own as described above in option 1a and 1b).
Please understand, due to the high demand of Blinn courses, classes fill up fast. Strategies for a successful registration include: register early, leave advising with several back up courses, be flexible on the times and days you are in class, and explore all teaching modalities (traditional, on-line, and blended).
For registration and payment due dates, please refer to our Academic Calendar found on our calendar events web site.
